"Starbucks Coffee" - Logo Redesign

In my Corporate Identity class we were given the task of redesigning an existing logo. Despite being a huge fan of Starbucks, I've often been "bothered" by their logo. I mean, what does a "Siren" have to do with coffee? So I quickly chose Starbucks to redesign, and went with something that said "coffee" to me, and incorporated the stars into the logo. I mean, at more than $4 for a cappuccino, who could possibly forgot the "bucks" part.
